Tabophone MIDI Recording Demo

The second Tabophone video is released! This time, you can see how Tabophone works with a digital audio workstation (DAW) to record your music. Advanced playing techniques like hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides and string bends are all detected by Tabophone. Don’t just take our word for it, watch the video here!

Once again, this post will be continually updated as we collect your feedback. Looking forward to your questions and comments!

Looks great man. I'm really hoping I'll be able to get one of these to use as a midi controller for hardware synths. If the tracking is good enough I'll be able to use to play an analogue polysynth like the DSI Prophet 8 or 6. From what I've read its necessary to put the fishman triple play into 'multi mono' mode so the synth needs to be at least six part multi timbral which these synths aren't. Anologue sounds so much better with the folkatronica I make.

    all the best,

Would be amazing if you can let me know where you're at so I know whether its worth waiting for the tabophoen to come out.

    Hi Calvin,
Been waiting for tablophone to be out to help all guitarists saving time in writing the notation. Just wondering if it works well with Classical guitar as well ? Will you be developing your tailored software for tablophone specifically ? Would want to see if it comes to playing the chords, the chord name is displayed ? All in all, Congratulations to your invention.

Hello, I'm bassist (4 strings) and I'm looking for an effective system to write music using a midi converter.
    (I work on Cubase.)
Do you have information about my research?
Thank you for your reply. Cordially.
